Homeland Security Careers Strategic Development Planning Process, their job preparation steps, their job applications procedures (including networking, volunteering, resume preparation, individualized branding, and interview skills) , their diligent follow up, and positive “can do” attitude is what enabled me and seventy other HSC clients to find employment in 2010. From my current perspective (with the DOL), the statistics for unemployed veterans is tragically high– more detailed transition assistance, such as the programs HSC so deftly employs, would go far to alleviating this national tragedy.”
