Despite attending the following at USAFA resume building, mock interviewing workshops, and what I believe to be the best Transition Assistance Program (TAP) available, I came away with more questions than when I started.  It was at this point that I was introduced to the Moving Ahead with Purpose (MAP) seminar offered by Homeland Security Careers.  Through discussion and exercise I was able to articulate my strengths, skills and values, and incorporate them into my career transition in a truly effective way, eliminating the “shotgun” approach to my job search.  I fully endorse this program and strongly encourage anyone that has the opportunity to attend to do so.”
